mrs_tribble at 12:56pm on 30/12/2010I've just been watching a 1972 episode of The Goodies, (it's either called Double Trouble or The Baddies - our Myth box couldn't figure it out). In this episode, someone is making evil replica robots of all entrants to "Nicest Person Of The Year".
I joked to the OH that these replicas must be Autons, because I'm like - you know - completely obsessed and will look for anything Doctor Who-like that I can find.
Only a matter of moments later, the Goodies discover who is behind these robotic replicas. It's an Evil Doctor Petal.
Who happened to be played by none other than the wonderful Patrick Troughton! As per the course he was wonderfully bonkers and obviously had a great time hamming it up!
