It's swell that BBC America is going to be airing the Christmas episode on the very day, but does anyone know if it will be the full episode, same as the one that airs on the BBC, or will there be cuts made to make room for commercials?

BBCA always airs the full episode the day it premiers. It's only in repeats that they cut them.

Great news, thank you! I don't get BBC America at home, so I didn't know their practices, but my sister gets it, and that's where I'll be at Christmas. (I mean, I'd be there anyway, but this is a bonus.)

Yep, it'll be the full episode! If you're recording, be warned that it will go for 75 minutes -- we're getting the full episode and commercials, but I'm not complaining!
