Greetings, I just migrated over here from That Other Service (TM). 

I've been a fan of Doctor Who since the late 70s (or was it early 80s).  And the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker) was my first.  Anyway, being new I'm looking for the best places to go for Doctor Who stuff on DW.  I'm aware of the dwfiction  already, and obviously you all here.  I'd be interested in RPGs as well, if those exist on DW yet....

Welcome. I can't exactly say I'm a refugee from The Other Place since I've been cross-posting from here for 18 months, but I'm definitely spending more time here.

All meta (for DW and Torchwood) is tagged as 'meta' or 'dw' over on my blog, if you're curious, and there's a smattering of fic.

Oh, and I've subscribed to you.

Regret I'm not a RPGer and so can't enlighten you in that regard.

No problem, Everyone keeps complaining about nothing going on here... so I'm doing something about it :D

Baby steps, though. I need to post my fics in the Fiction comm too, but to just offer the link didn't seem right.

Hello! I'll peek at your fics this coming week as time permits. Sadly, there aren't but less than a handful of Doctor Who comms here, but dwfiction is a great place for all manner of fic and you should enjoy it. There may be a few more since last week at this point --- you might want to use the search function to seek out if there are any more listed (there were exactly three as of last weekend).

Yup... I think there are a couple more than that. But only three that are active. I was just hoping that folks who've been around might know if they're using other names/functions that I might not thought of searching for.

Then it's still the same three. You might try "dr who" rather than "doctor who" in your search. I've seen that floating around out there, at least for individual accountholders. Good luck!

Hi! I'm new here too, and I have the same question. So far I've found this comm, doctor_who, doctor_and_master, some Torchwood comms and a few scattered others than appear to have never been updated (e.g., companions). If you come across any others, let me know!

I'm not sure what the difference is between this comm and doctor_who. This one seems to be slightly more active, but I'm not sure about that, either.

Thanks for the suggestions! I will have to check them out. I think as more people flee That Other Site(TM), various comms here will become more active.
