Season 9 so far
Given that we're at a halfway point, and also I keep forgetting to to this in a more timely manner, it seems like a decent moment to mention that I've been blogging ("reviewing" is far too strong a word) about each episode at No Award.
"The Magician's Apprentice" and "The Witch's Familiar"
"Under the Lake" and "Before the Flood"
"The Girl Who Died" and "The Woman Who Lived"
TL;DR: Missy is delightful; I launch an extended ramble about asexualism in Doctor Who, and how that is not asexual representation; I think they're doing something interesting and well-written with Clara which I nevertheless dislike; I don't think things will end well for Clara at all, but I'm more optimistic for her than the UK tabloids.
