I love it - although I'm not so sure about the tone of the challenge: the implication being that the writing was shoddy in the classic series and everything's so much better now.

In response, I'd like to see Matt Smith do a cold reading of McCoy's Doctor taunting Davros into wiping out Skaro's sun, or his 'burnt toast and bus stations' speech in Ghost Light. Or even the 'worlds out there where the sky is burning' closing speech in Survival.
