Most of this post is me trying to work out why I feel emotionally disconnected from Series 5 (current theory: there's something off with the way the NPCs are - or rather, aren't - portrayed). The rest is a review of Victory of the Daleks.

I'm jumping on the bandwagon and posting about the latest Doctor Who episodes. My entry is here. I don't usually write episode reviews for my favourite TV programmes, but the new Doctor Who has me so indecisive about whether I like it or not I felt I needed to get my thoughts out somewhere.
