Hello!

You're making me so jealous of not living in the US (and I never said I'd say that), because Classic Who is my big pending task and it's impossible to watch it legally in my country unless you buy the DVDs (which I can't afford, and anyway they're so many).

Thanks as well for the Big Finish on Spotify list! I have some from free downloads via Doctor Who Magazine 50th Anniversary Issue, but I haven't got around yet at listening them (I guess I fear they will speak too fast for me to understand? God knows I have difficulties with Capaldi sometimes). This will be useful for when I finally decide to pop my BF's cherry :P

Big Finish usually sticks to actors with accents that are easier to understand. Every now and then they'll toss a northern accent our way, but they're almost never as thick as Capaldi's (I adore him, and I love the fact that the BBC now lets actors use their real accents instead of forcing them all to adopt RP, but I confess I watch with subtitles. He and Bill challenge my hard-of-hearing American ears sometimes.)

The only time I ever have trouble understanding Big Finish audios is when they get carried away with alien characters, and distort someone's voice too much. But that doesn't happen very often, and it's usually gurgling threats or something where you can figure out the gist from the other characters' responses.

I'm sorry you don't have a way to watch classic Who! Hopefully enough US subscribers will sign on to encourage them to expand the service.

... but, yes, be thankful you're not in the US right now. We need a few bright spots like classic Who to hang onto.
