I am away from home again this week, so have not yet seen Oxygen. Luckily I am not a spoilerphobe (it was quite hard walking out of the house to the train station while the theme tune was playing though...)

In the middle of election season it was interesting to get back to the arch politics that DW had around 2008 when it was giving it to New Labour with both barrels.

While I agree with the sentiment expressed, I thought it was a leeetle heavy-handed, and that's with Thin Ice in mind.

I apologise for my typos and lack of clarity; I don't really object to the anti-capitalism, although like you I found it a bit heavy handed; what shocked me was the ableism, and the let's-make-the-black-woman-do-performative-racism, and the casual cruelty of the doctor towards all and sundry
